What is Tai Chi?

Unlike aerobics and most forms of modern Western exercise, Tai Chi steadily teaches you how it is possible to achieve vibrant health and assist healing through correct body alignments and low-impact movements. It is based most importantly on moderation, known as the 70% Rule.

The internal health aspects of Qigong practised alone or within Tai Chi can help relieve physical, emotional and mental tension and stress and pave the way to self-healing. We believe that the way we teach Tai Chi is safe for people of all ages and levels of fitness.

We both teach at these sessions, enabling us to pass on material to you at multiple levels, adapted to suit everyone. Students of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to attend. The next workshop is on Sat 27th July.

    Traditional Long Form

In a unique full-immersion workshop from Fri 19th July to Sun 21st July 2019 we will start with reviewing the Wu 108 long form for all students who have studied it and wish to have a refresher course. Then from within this structure we introduce the Yang mother form and highlight certain moves to show the differences that distinguish the 2 forms, but also the similarity of the internal work that makes them the same.

Please check the details page to see if this workshop is suitable for you. Cost £120
