Downton Classes
Downton Memorial Hall, The Borough SP5 3NB, Wiltshire.
The government has now lifted all restrictions on indoor exercise classes. We will continue to maintain good ventilation and restrict numbers of participants so that rooms don't get crowded. However in order to comply with current governing body guidance for exercise classes we require you to fill in a PARQ form which includes additional information. It should be printed and completed before returning to us at your first class attendance, or by email if you are able to complete it electronically.
If you feel at all unwell, please do not attend class.

Tai Chi Qigong - Downton
Just follow along to 45 minutes of low-impact energising exercise in our very popular Tai Chi Qigong classes. All classes are performed standing, but you can choose to be seated. Suitable for complete beginners, all age groups and levels of fitness. (Social Distancing - see class details for more info).

Yang Style Tai Chi Sword - Downton

Starting January 2022, existing students who have already studied the form sequence are invited to begin their study of traditional Taijiquan Connection practices, working with partners to enhance their sensitivity and understanding of the underlying internal components of the movements. Because of Covid restrictions we are limiting this study of Tai Chi Sword practices, wherre we can more easily keep our distance.
Cost £9 per session (existing students)
60 minutes of exercise (COVID restrictions - see details for more info).

Meditation with Jane

Learn to relax deeply and work with your qi (subtle life force energy) to help improve your health, calm your mind and emotions and awaken spiritual potential inside you. The material taught is 'Taoist Presence Practices' from the ancient 'Water Method' of Taoist Meditation.
Contribution of £8 gratefully received if you can afford it. Each session is 60 mins.
