Directions
Head through the village from the A338 (Bull pub). Continue past the CoOp and the village greens and hump bridge. The house is located just pass the 'pinch point' and before Tannery Bridge. If you are arriving by public transport on the X3 it is about a 10 minute walk, just stay on the road through the village (The Borough) until you reach number 134.
Access is through the side gate, to the left of the Dragon House as you look at it. Walk straight ahead towards the garden, keep going past our main house, along the side of the cottage into the garden or via the sliding doors of the cottage into the studio space.
Parking can be tricky sometimes, but if there is nowhere on street near our house, or on the off road patch under the trees diagonally opposite, you will find on-street parking further along The Borough, around the greens, at the front of the Co-op etc, it’s a big village and the few private roads are clearly marked. You may ignore the ‘no parking’ signs on the wall outside the nearby Casterbridge House, it is perfectly legal to park on street there. There is also some parking at The Moot car park (a little way along Moot Lane), on the High Street, or along Barford Lane. I’d suggest allowing an extra 10 minutes or so to park up, in case you need to walk back.
Worth tucking in your wing mirrors for on-street parking.
