Tai Chi Qigong - RingwoodGet your Weekly Tai Chi Fix!Just follow along to 45-50 minutes of low-impact energising exercise in our very popular Tai Chi Qigong classes. All classes are performed standing, but you can choose to be seated. Suitable for complete beginners, all age groups and levels of fitness. The 18 move Shibashi Tai Chi Qigong movements are traditionally performed with music and are relaxing and easy to follow, and is practised around the world by millions of people. It is based on some of the movements from Yang style tai chi chuan and this gentle, flowing qigong exercise set is deeply relaxing and pleasant to perform. Yang Style Tai Chi - RingwoodCome and study authentic Taijiquan with us!The Masich Internal Arts Method (MIAM) Five Section Taijiquan program material is designed to be flexible and fun, ideal for beginners to get a well grounded introduction to traditional Tai Chi, who may then decide to take on the more difficult challenges of the full curriculum. This term we will continue our study of the 24-step Yang style form, based on a thorough understanding of core principles. Learning to create correct alignment in the body, free the mind through breath and calm, and move intentfully are all part of authentive taijiquan (Tai Chi) practice. Part of this study requires we work with partners to develop greater sensitity to the subtle energies at play when we jion with the taiji process. Tai Chi Qigong for Health - Wilton 10amGet your Weekly Tai Chi Fix!Just follow along to 45-50 minutes of low-impact, energising exercise in our popular Tai Chi Qigong class. Movements are performed standing, but you can choose to be seated (there is no floor/mat work). Suitable for complete beginners, all age groups and levels of fitness. With their roots in Tai Chi, these calming, enjoyable movements are pleasant to perform and much simpler than the deep study of our traditional Tai Chi curriculum, while offering many of the benefits. The flowing movements are done to relaxing music, are simple to copy and are repeated with instructions, so you don't have to remember a lot of detail and sequence. This form of exercise can help improve balance, flexibility, breathing, memory and general well-being, through releasing stress and tension. Tai Chi Qigong Principles - Wilton 11amJoin us for Tai Chi Qigong with Principles!Join us for 45-50 minutes of low-impact, energising exercise in this popular Tai Chi Qigong class. Moves are performed standing, but chairs are available if you need to sit for a while (there is no floor/mat work). Suitable for all age groups and particularly those who wish more in-depth knowledge of the principles behind the movements. This Tai Chi Qigong class will work with the enjoyable, flowing 'Shibashi Set 1' moves PLUS aspects and moves from other Tai Chi Qigong Sets. In this class we will also explore what is behind some of the movements, in terms of principles like weight-change, co-ordination and energy. There are also occasions when we may stand (or sit) still for a while, to work on quietening the mind to explore the more subtle meditative and perceptive aspects of Tai Chi Qigong. Traditional Tai Chi - WiltonPrinciples & Form of Yang Style Tai ChiWe continue our study of traditional Yang style Tai Chi principles, using the '108 Long Form' as a vehicle to express what we have learnt. This class is only available to those who already have some Tai Chi (taijiquan) experience, particularly in Yang style. As is the traditional way, theis class uses partner connection work to help us develop greater sensitity to the subtle energies at play when we join with the taiji process.
